Position Overview

Lattimore Physical Therapy is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Administrative Coordinator to support our dynamic private practice across various locations. The ideal candidate should be a reliable team player with a strong work ethic.

Role Summary: As the Administrative Coordinator, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our practice, facilitating patient flow, optimizing operational processes, and delivering essential administrative assistance to our physical therapists and management team.

  • Outstanding organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of social and emotional intelligence.

The core responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming visitors and patients, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and directing them to the appropriate staff.
  • Coordinating and confirming patient appointments.
  • Handling incoming phone calls.
  • Gathering patient information and confirming insurance details.
  • Scanning and managing documents.
  • Routing faxes and electronic records.
  • Understanding HIPAA regulations and privacy compliance.
  • Verifying and following up on no-fault and workers' compensation claims.
  • Processing medical records requests.
  • Utilizing office equipment, including voicemail systems, and employing software applications such as word processors and spreadsheets.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days and evenings.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Medical Front Desk Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Insurance Verification Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Medent: (Preferred)
