About the Role

BAE Systems USA is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to lead our efforts at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a key member of our team, you will serve as the liaison between the Government and BAE Systems, providing insight on customer mission objectives and our company's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for CISA, identifying and developing a multi-year pipeline to support our business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with CISA stakeholders, including senior-level officials and program managers.
  • Lead the development of opportunity-specific customer value propositions and cost strategies, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Participate in new business funding (NBF) and internal research and development (IR&D) planning and management, driving growth and innovation within our organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related discipline, with a minimum of 12 years of relevant business development experience, including meaningful DHS expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering technology solutions to the Federal Government, with a track record of success in leading and winning contracts over $50M.
  • Ability to identify, establish, and utilize key customer relationships with senior-level officials and program stakeholders within the Federal civilian community.
  • Experience leading opportunity captures, including developing overall win strategies, shaping deals with customers, and developing teaming strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Top Secret SCI clearance.
  • Detailed understanding of Federal Civilian Executive Branch.
  • Engineering background in cyber, IT, or networking.
