Business Development Manager

Charger Logistics Inc is a leading asset-based carrier seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth in the USA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Branch Director to develop territory and account strategies to support sales growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing business accounts.
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage and define financial resources, including monitoring budgets and providing input for financial decisions.
- Build and foster relationships with customers to earn new accounts.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in new business development, including cold calling, setting appointments, and closing deals.
- 1+ years of sales and account management experience in the transportation industry.
- Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals.
- Strong knowledge of the sales planning process.
- Ability to interface with all levels of customers.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, as well as strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven closing ability.
- High energy and genuine passion for sales.
- Ability to function independently and in a team environment.
- College or university degree in a marketing or business-related field is an asset.
