Job Summary

The Mental Health Association is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Response Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in mental health, crisis intervention, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of crisis responders, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with the Program Director to develop and implement program policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide remote backup to crisis responders in the field, offering guidance and support during high-pressure situations.
  • Staff Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge in areas such as de-escalation, mental health crisis, substance use crisis, and suicide prevention.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, working with the Program Director to develop reports and recommendations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely reporting and documentation of program activities, including data collection and quality assurance.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of post-master's full-time equivalent professional experience in a psychiatric setting, with a focus on crisis intervention and team leadership.
  • Licensure: Professional license (LSW, LAC) required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
