Crisis Response Clinician

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is actively seeking a Full-Time Clinician for our Mobile Response and Stabilization Services Program.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Master's Degree in social work or a related discipline
- Valid driver's license
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or English-Arabic is preferred. A background of 2-3 years in working with children and families, particularly in crisis evaluation and intervention, is advantageous but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver crisis de-escalation, intervention, assessment, safety planning, and stabilization services to families and children in various settings.
- Facilitate discharge and transition services, ensuring appropriate referrals and linkages to necessary supports.
- Develop a comprehensive individualized crisis plan for each client, including specific behavioral goals and strategies.
- Maintain accurate client records and electronic documentation in accordance with program standards.
- Document service data as required for statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to provide effective services for clients.

About the Program:
- The Mobile Response program provides families with counseling, guidance, and referral services to manage juvenile crises and support family stability. The program addresses issues such as truancy, chronic runaways, family conflicts, and curfew violations. Services are available around the clock to assist children and youth facing emotional or behavioral challenges, aiming to de-escalate crises and ensure safety while maintaining family unity.
