Job Overview

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is in search of a Full-Time Program Supervisor for its Mobile Response & Stabilization Services Program.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline
  • Current LSW or equivalent licensure is mandatory
  • Comprehensive knowledge of child and family dynamics and intervention techniques
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License is essential
  • 2-3 years of experience in a clinical environment is required

Preference will be given to candidates with LCSW or LPC credentials. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with New Jersey's System of Care is a plus. Experience with the CYBER electronic system is advantageous. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Program Supervisor during the orientation process
  • Facilitate and streamline service delivery within the program
  • Ensure adherence to program guidelines, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards
  • Develop and implement program protocols to enhance service delivery and client outcomes
  • Collaborate with the program manager and stakeholders to ensure effective program operations
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation as necessary
  • Manage follow-up communication and planning in response to crises
  • Be available for consultation on a 24/7 basis as scheduled
  • Cover program responsibilities in the absence of the Program Manager
  • Assist staff in initiating crisis stabilization plans and transition planning for discharges
  • Review and authorize Individualized Crisis Plans
  • Ensure that all staff maintain up-to-date client records in compliance with documentation standards
  • Implement and oversee staff development plans
  • May provide direct services as a backup when required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Manager
  • Assist the Program Supervisor with other tasks as needed.

Services are available around the clock to assist children and youth facing emotional or behavioral crises, aiming to de-escalate immediate situations and maintain children in their homes or current living arrangements.
