The selected candidate will face complex challenges that aid in the planning and execution of customer orders. As a vital point of contact, you will work closely with various teams to ensure that customer requirements are met with outstanding service and communication.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction

  • Oversee and manage the processing and fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing inquiries related to quotes, inventory status, warranty claims, and shipment tracking.
  • Provide technical assistance and product information to customers, supporting their sales needs.
  • Monitor daily customer orders to ensure timely progression and prioritization.
  • Proactively identify potential delays, keeping customers informed about inventory levels and restocking timelines.

Software Proficiency

  • Master the Sage 100 ERP system for managing sales orders, inventory, and customer records.
  • Utilize customized shipping boards to maintain order accuracy.
  • Develop and manage timelines to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Document all necessary steps involved in the sales fulfillment process.

Collaboration with Teams

  • Facilitate order processing by collaborating with the Sales team to meet customer expectations.
  • Manage inventory levels for new orders, coordinating closely with the Warehouse team for shipment scheduling.
  • Adapt to challenges and provide support to both Sales and Warehouse teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales support or customer service role within the industrial equipment manufacturing sector.
  • A degree in Operations, Engineering, or Manufacturing, or a strong technical background with relevant product support experience.
  • Comfortable engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries regarding services.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a strong emphasis on customer service, recalling guidelines and responding promptly to inquiries.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft (or equivalent) productivity software.
