Job Overview

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking a seasoned Engineering Leader to provide strategic guidance to a team of engineers from various disciplines. This role involves creating and implementing comprehensive project plans to meet customer requirements and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans to address research, development, and business needs, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Collaborate with customers and senior management to finalize project scope and deliverables
  • Manage changes to project scope and assess their impact on project timelines and budgets
  • Lead project execution and track performance metrics, ensuring timely completion and within budget
  • Coordinate resources and oversee a team of up to 50 engineers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members, other departments, customers, and vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement
  • Delegate tasks efficiently and evaluate designs and specifications, ensuring quality and compliance
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure project completion within schedule and budget, meeting customer expectations and company standards

Requirements:

  • Background in aircraft structural, interior, mechanical, and electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of industry best practices
  • Experience in aviation and aircraft interior design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of engineers
  • Proficiency in project management and negotiation, with a strong understanding of business principles and practices
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 7 years of industry experience, with a proven record of success in a leadership role
