Position Overview
As a key member of the Greenpoint Technologies team, you will provide engineering leadership across various disciplines, collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders to fulfill customer needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate comprehensive statements of work (SOW) to address research, ongoing development, and new business initiatives.
  • Engage with clients and management to secure SOW approvals.
  • Identify and manage modifications to SOW, evaluating the implications of changes and integrating them as necessary.
  • Facilitate negotiations regarding proposed adjustments to deliverables, resources, costs, and timelines.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure completion of the defined work statement.
  • Establish program performance metrics to gauge success.
  • Plan, identify, and coordinate resources throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead a team of up to 50 engineers, providing guidance, organization, coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Manage multiple priorities and competing tasks, effectively delegating responsibilities to team members.
  • Collaborate constructively with other departments and vendors to reach consensus on program-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with the engineering team, other departments, customers, and vendors to ensure smooth project completion.
  • Prepare engineering packages, staffing plans, and schedules to meet program timelines and budgets.
  • Deliver regular project status updates to upper management utilizing advanced presentation techniques.
  • Maintain oversight of the program, ensuring clear communication with engineering teams and serving as the primary point of contact for all engineering activities.
  • Delegate responsibilities to enhance efficiency.
  • Review and approve designs, changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
  • Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality in the workplace.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficient understanding of aircraft structural, interior, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
  • Experience with structural substantiation and certification.
  • Aviation background with aircraft interior experience is essential.
  • Capability to lead a team of engineers effectively to produce aircraft modification engineering.
  • Ability to coach, train, and mentor engineering staff.
  • Skill in assessing team strengths and delegating tasks for optimal results.
  • Competence in preparing meeting materials and conducting design reviews to keep all parties informed.
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in CAD systems, spreadsheets, word processing, project scheduling, and presentation software.
  • Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed.

Education & Experience
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, with at least 7 years of industry experience or a comparable combination of education and experience.
