Project Manager

SUMMARY:
Prosum is seeking a Global IT Senior Project Manager to oversee critical IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in IT Project Management, demonstrating the ability to ensure the successful execution of diverse application projects within the IT sector. Exceptional interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and the capacity to work autonomously while providing outstanding customer service are essential.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all facets of IT application implementation projects Direct project teams and/or work-streams effectively Apply established project management and SDLC methodologies Navigate a matrix-managed environment with part-time embedded resources Develop and manage the project intake process and resource capacity planning Proactively escalate issues and provide clear descriptions to senior management along with suggested resolutions Exhibit executive presence and strong presentation capabilities Act as a liaison among internal customers, IT, and external contractors or firms Manage vendor relationships, including selection and contract negotiations KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the role, quickly adopting new ideas and methods that add value Results-Driven. Effectively accomplishes tasks with available resources, prioritizing work and setting achievable goals. Continuously seeks to enhance both company and personal performance Communication. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE: BA/BS in Business Administration or Computer Science, with relevant experience considered in lieu of formal education. Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing medium to large-scale systems projects Proven track record in managing projects focused on business process enhancement and best practice implementation. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and SDLC methodologies. Ability to act as a positive change agent while managing competing priorities Adaptability to evolving business needs and assignments Strong problem-solving capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills Reliable with a strong customer service orientation Ability to enforce deadlines effectively A proactive approach with a strong focus on customer satisfaction Experience as an independent consultant is advantageous Background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences is a plus. Willingness to work hours necessary to meet delivery timelines Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: PMP Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
