Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, complemented by a minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience. A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is mandatory at the time of employment.

Role Responsibilities: As a Senior Cybersecurity and Systems Administration Specialist, you will act as a primary point of contact for users facing technical challenges. Your role will involve conducting systems analysis and development to ensure our systems remain aligned with evolving technologies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing DevOps infrastructures utilized across various programs.
  • Installing new software, troubleshooting issues, and managing application permissions.
  • Providing daily support for server services, including administration of both physical and virtual server operating systems.
  • Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical and virtual hardware and network interfaces on servers.
  • Performing operating system and vendor software patching on servers while monitoring performance using specialized tools.

Collaboration and Engineering: In this capacity, you will serve as a vital link between our clients and engineering teams, assisting in defining requirements, architectures, and engineering solutions for our IT systems.

Technical Expertise: The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of:

  • VDI, RedHat Linux, Windows Server, and VMware vSphere.
  • Software tools that support Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect reporting, and scripting.
  • Developer tools and methodologies including Jira, Confluence, GitLab, CI/CD, HELM, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Vault, Python, Powershell, and Bash.
  • Security tools such as Tenable Nessus and Splunk.

Infrastructure Development: You will be responsible for defining and constructing various development, testing, and production environments. Your ability to architect, deploy, and continuously maintain secure, reliable, and flexible infrastructures will be essential.

Compliance and Security: Experience in implementing security controls for Linux and Windows systems to ensure compliance with standards such as STIGs/CIS Benchmarks, NIST SP 800-53, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is required. You will also need to complete CompTIA Security+ certification within six months of joining.
