The Senior IT Systems Support Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining a high level of technical proficiency across various technology platforms. Responsibilities include managing and resolving intricate IT challenges, collaborating with diverse teams, serving as the primary tier 2 escalation point, and liaising with vendors to ensure optimal configuration and operation of technology assets. The ideal candidate will have experience in both MacOS and Windows systems, deploying software applications through JAMF and SCCM. A proactive mindset towards problem-solving, a strong commitment to security and compliance, and the ability to enhance processes through automation are essential for success in this role.

Work Environment
  • Work is conducted in a controlled office environment with extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical demands may include bending, crawling, reaching, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular tasks may require working in confined spaces and exposure to varying temperatures during equipment deployment.
  • Tasks will be reviewed regularly to ensure quality and efficiency.
Background Check Requirement

All candidates will undergo a comprehensive pre-employment screening process, including a criminal background check and verification of work history and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a closely related field, along with four (4) years of experience in providing diagnostic and troubleshooting support in a client-server, cross-platform environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, imaging, and troubleshooting Windows, MacOS, and other operating systems.
  • Experience with software packaging for deployment in JAMF and SCCM.
  • Familiarity with deployment systems and tools such as SCCM, JAMF, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Knowledge of system encryption technologies for various devices.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Power Automate, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with standard software applications including Microsoft Office O365 and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Project management skills, including task organization and prioritization.
  • Experience in customer service, particularly with high-profile clients.
  • Knowledge of AV systems and virtual reality technologies.
Essential Responsibilities
