Job Overview

Forest Properties Management, Inc. is in search of a skilled Facilities Maintenance Leader to oversee operations at our multifamily residential community. This role involves supervising a dedicated team, managing various projects, and executing both administrative and hands-on maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage work orders and projects, coordinate with vendors and contractors for renovations; procure necessary materials and tools; assign tasks to team members.
  • Leverage technology such as tablets and mobile devices to communicate, place orders, and manage work orders efficiently.
  • Conduct repairs across various systems including appliances, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all service requests.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with residents, management, team members, vendors, and contractors.
  • Be available for a rotational on-call schedule, including potential overtime and weekend work.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory role with strong communication, delegation, and project management skills.
  • At least 5 years of experience in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or painting; HVAC or appliance repair experience is a plus.
  • Physical capability to lift 75 lbs or more and engage in various physical activities.
  • Possession of personal tools and reliable transportation is essential.
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA and provide necessary documentation upon hiring.
