Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment and facilities. This includes tasks related to plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling, and other essential building systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, inspect, and identify production equipment or machinery requiring repair.
  • Plan and execute annual maintenance tasks based on building blueprints or equipment manuals, or as necessary.
  • Oversee all general maintenance not related to appliances, including drywall repairs, painting, door repairs, and maintenance of other building fixtures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and assist in the upkeep of the facilities.
  • Procure supplies and materials essential for repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Perform light welding tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders.
  • Prior welding experience is preferred.
  • Strong electrical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
