Classic Vision Care is a well-established private practice with a legacy of 40 years in the optometry field. We are seeking to expand our team with dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional vision care.

Position Summary:

We are in search of a committed Optometrist to enhance our practice. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive vision care services to our patients, which includes everything from routine eye exams to the management of complex eye conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough eye examinations and interpret diagnostic results to assess visual acuity and ocular health.
  • Identify and manage refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia, along with ocular diseases including glaucoma and macular degeneration.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and medications tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Refer patients to specialized medical services or vision therapy when required.
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients, including follow-up assessments.
  • Evaluate patients for systemic conditions that may present with ocular symptoms and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients on maintaining eye health, including proper lens care and nutritional advice.
  • Assist with preliminary testing and patient assessments as necessary.
  • Deliver treatment for ocular diseases in accordance with state regulations.
  • Engage in professional development through participation in meetings and training sessions.
Practice Hours:

Operating Schedule:
• Tuesday: 9 AM - 6 PM
• Wednesday: 8 AM - 5 PM
• Thursday: 9 AM - 6 PM
• Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM
• Saturday: 10 AM - 2 PM

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Attractive annual salary of $150,000 based on a 4.5-day work week.

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
  • Valid optometry license in the state of Georgia.
