Position Summary:

We are seeking a committed Optometrist to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be essential in delivering comprehensive vision care to our community, encompassing everything from vision correction to the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough eye examinations and interpret results to assess visual efficiency and eye health.
  • Identify and manage refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia, as well as ocular conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and medications tailored to patients' visual requirements.
  • Refer patients to specialized medical or vision therapy services when necessary.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries, including follow-up assessments.
  • Evaluate patients for systemic diseases that may present ocular symptoms and coordinate referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Advocate for eye health by educating patients on visual hygiene, contact lens maintenance, and nutritional support.
  • Assist with preliminary testing as required.
  • Manage and treat ocular diseases in accordance with state regulations.
  • Engage in educational opportunities and contribute to team meetings and training sessions for continuous improvement.
Working Hours:

Patient Availability:
• Tuesday: 9 AM - 6 PM
• Wednesday: 8 AM - 5 PM
• Thursday: 9 AM - 6 PM
• Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM
• Saturday: 10 AM - 2 PM

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Attractive annual salary of $150,000 based on a 4.5-day work week.
