Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of the clinical team, your responsibilities will include:
- Administering vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB tests.
- Taking vital signs and monitoring patient health.
- Providing emergency assistance in collaboration with on-site providers during critical situations.
- Conducting patient registration, intake, and checkout processes.
- Managing the waiting area and performing outreach calls, appointment scheduling, and assisting with sensitive examinations to enhance patient experience.
- Preparing the clinic and waiting areas to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
- Contributing to our mission of guiding individuals towards better health through exceptional patient-focused interactions.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in administering immunizations and providing evidence-based vaccine counseling.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in documenting within an Electronic Medical Record system.
- Ability to accurately take vital signs.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
- Ability to pass a FIT test and comply with respirator mask protocols when necessary.
Preferred:
- Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.
- Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Record systems.
Licensure/Certifications
The LPN must possess a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
Education
Graduation from an accredited school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, recognized by the State Agency and/or the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)).
