Bayfront Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders. Your expertise will include initiating and conducting therapeutic procedures, maintaining patient records, and selecting, assembling, checking, and operating equipment. Key responsibilities include:

* Demonstrating competency in respiratory therapeutics and non-invasive ventilators, pulmonary diagnostics, and other equipment required for respiratory care
* Maintaining accurate and precise documentation
* Communicating effectively with the healthcare team
* Demonstrating proficiency in quality control and maintenance of arterial blood gas analyzers, specimen collection, and analysis of blood for gas transport and acid/base determinations
* Maintaining compliance with Bayfront Health policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences, be eligible for the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) exam, and maintain a license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the State of Florida Department of Health. Additionally, you will need to maintain current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
