As a Respiratory Therapist at Quality Talent Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care, from routine procedures to complex treatments.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients' clinical status and develop plans of care to meet their respiratory needs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document interventions and patient responses in the electronic medical record to ensure accurate and compliant documentation.
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or must be obtained within 120-day orientation period.
- Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Our Respiratory Therapist will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-based environment, especially during stressful situations involving quickly changing priorities.
