As a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Bayfront Health, you will play a vital role in assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders. Your expertise will be essential in initiating and conducting therapeutic procedures, maintaining patient records, and selecting, assembling, checking, and operating equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with breathing disorders to develop effective treatment plans.
• Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, including the use of non-invasive ventilators and pulmonary diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate and precise documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
• Demonstrate expertise in the areas of medical gas administration, environmental control systems, humidification, medication delivery, non-invasive ventilatory support, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Qualifications:
• Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences.
• Eligibility for the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) exam.
• Maintains license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the State of Florida Department of Health.
• Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
