Position Summary

The Cash Management Team at Campbell Soup Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the company's Cash Management and Banking Services operations. This role is focused on executing daily cash management tasks, including cash position analysis, commodity margin evaluations, payment processing, and managing corporate payment executions. Additionally, the position involves supporting banking services across various US and international locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assess daily cash and liquidity positions to inform funding and investment decisions, adhering to established policies.

2. Process domestic and international wire transfers, ACH transactions, and electronic fund transfers using Treasury systems and multiple banking platforms, while resolving any discrepancies.

3. Conduct daily reconciliations of bank activities against Treasury systems and report any inconsistencies.

4. Manage weekly intercompany cash transfers through Treasury systems.

5. Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to address queries and enhance reporting efficiency.

6. Oversee the administration of bank account openings/closings and the implementation of new banking services.

7. Manage user access and entitlements for online banking platforms, including maintaining account authorizations.

8. Administer Treasury systems, ensuring accurate maintenance of users, bank accounts, and payment instructions.

9. Assist in the monthly analysis and reporting of banking fees, including resolving billing errors.

10. Confirm foreign exchange transactions and ensure accurate setup in Treasury systems, collaborating with the Treasury group to resolve any issues.

11. Facilitate the settlement of intercompany notes and manage the monthly netting process.

12. Support monthly financial closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations related to cash and banking.

13. Aid in compliance efforts, including SOX controls and audits.

14. Participate in Cash Management projects, such as banking service evaluations and system upgrades.

15. Contribute to cash forecasting processes, enhancing data analysis and tools for improved accuracy.

16. Continuously seek to improve processes, reducing risks and enhancing efficiency.

17. Undertake additional projects as required.

Complexity and Scope

- Ability to manage high-pressure situations due to time-sensitive cash management and closing schedules.
- Proficient in multitasking and addressing both immediate operational needs and long-term projects.
- Capable of analyzing data logically and drawing informed conclusions.
- Organized approach to managing user access across various banking systems.
- Competent in creating accurate accounting entries impacting financial statements.
- Strong research skills to resolve cash and accounting inquiries.
- Experience in managing projects to enhance cash management systems.
- Professional interaction with banking partners on operational issues.
- Daily decision-making regarding cash system inputs/outputs.
- Ability to maintain and improve processes within a complex cash management framework.
- Utilize accounting knowledge for reconciliations and reporting.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance and accounting with strong accounting skills.

Other:
  • Ability to thrive in a multitasked environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong administrative skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP, IT2, or other Treasury systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with financial institutions.

Work Environment:
Standard office setting with minimal travel requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:
The target salary range for this full-time position is between $61,800 and $97,800, based on location, experience, and qualifications. Total compensation may include additional forms of remuneration. We offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits starting on the first day of employment.
