We are in search of a Global Strategic Account Executive to drive core business initiatives and spearhead new business development on a global scale. This role is pivotal in crafting, executing, and overseeing sales and account management strategies, systems, and reports for key Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and innovative, thriving in a collaborative and entrepreneurial atmosphere. The position will consistently identify, evaluate, propose, and implement strategies aimed at enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and strategize potential challenges with key accounts, showcasing strong negotiation skills.
- Serve as an internal consultant to business partners in sales and acquisition efforts, translating findings into actionable data analysis.
- Deconstruct complex issues to formulate and execute actionable plans.
- Comprehend analysis and computational complexity to address problems programmatically.
- Create visual interfaces for data interaction.
- Establish and implement essential business development support systems and processes to accommodate rapid growth.
- Pinpoint strategy gaps within sales and account management teams and identify areas for enhancement.
- Oversee regular business reporting to provide leadership with an accurate overview of business performance.
- Manage the roadmap for sales and acquisition teams, ensuring continuous advancement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Relevant college degree.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations or similar roles supporting mid-to-large scale, multi-geographical Sales or Business Development Organizations.
- Experience in new business acquisition.
- Proven ability to define, refine, and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a history of presenting to senior management.
- Sound business judgment, ownership, and data-driven analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel for data interpretation and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a lean and fast-paced organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering degree preferred.
- MBA, Master of Engineering, or other relevant advanced degree.
- Project management experience.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and navigate ambiguous situations.
