As an Information Systems Security Specialist II, you will oversee a vital Contractor to Government (C2G) classified system that supports various SNC/USG initiatives as the designated Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).

Your role will be pivotal in assisting our USG partners in expediting the implementation of advanced technologies while fostering collaboration with industry stakeholders.

As part of a comprehensive Systems Security Engineering and Cybersecurity team, you will be exposed to the latest trends, capabilities, and best practices in the field.


The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) division is at the forefront of ISR and aviation, serving as a leading integrator of manned and unmanned aircraft systems for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation solutions.

Our end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities include design, integration, testing, certification, ground/flight training, and comprehensive logistics support.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as the ISSO for CFR 32 (NISPOM) and ensure compliance with NISP eMASS

Lead efforts for STIG compliance and Cybersecurity Operational Readiness

Manage Windows Active Directory, User Account, GPO & Client administration

Oversee SIEM management via Splunk and maintain Certificate Revocation & Token-based authentication

Conduct Vulnerability Management using Tenable Security Center and/or Nessus

Ensure compliance with NSA Type 1 Encryption functionality

Manage Cisco Router and Switch functionality and STIG compliance

Oversee Juniper Firewall functionality and STIG compliance

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related Engineering discipline, along with typically 3 years of relevant experience

Relevant experience may substitute for the required education

Security+ certification

Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Implementation

Proficiency in Windows Active Directory

An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is mandatory



Preferred Qualifications:
ISSM CAP, CISSP, or CISM Certification

ISSE CAP, CISSP-ISSEP Certification

ISSO Security+, CISA, or CASP+ Certification

MCSE, Linux, and/or CCNP Security Certification
