Position Overview:

This position involves a contract arrangement with the potential for permanent placement. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in supporting both hardware and software systems, as well as experience with server and network equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct repairs, testing, imaging, and cleaning of desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, and other related hardware.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot software issues and computer peripherals, with the ability to set up, configure, and integrate all hardware components.
  • Manage asset tracking, including installation, relocation, addition, and modification of equipment. Participate in large-scale IMAC events for printer migrations and PC refresh initiatives.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all support tickets requiring additional work or communication.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of server equipment.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and security protocols, both as part of routine procedures and in emergency situations.
  • Adhere to established guidelines for detecting, diagnosing, and reporting outages of critical applications.
  • Support the diagnosis of network hardware and performance issues, performing approved installations and maintenance of physical network systems.
  • Provide in-person technical support to end users, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of process improvements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues faced by end users.
  • Assist site leadership in executing established processes and handling escalations.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Demonstrate experience in an enterprise-level environment.
  • Be physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, crawling, and lying down to support customer systems.
  • Maintain mobility throughout the workday, visiting various work areas as needed.
