Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the acquisition of advanced defense systems in a pivotal role.

Formulate technical engineering initiatives, strategies, and objectives.

Set technical benchmarks for the advancement of assigned systems throughout the complete acquisition lifecycle.

Organize, program, coordinate, and oversee the technical execution of engineering tasks to fulfill program specifications.

Deliver formal and informal presentations and compile technical documentation and reports in areas of expertise, engaging in discussions and conferences related to assigned systems.

Qualifications:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance.

A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment within the last four (4) years.

At least 10 years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) experience and an ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in engineering.


Two (2) years must be in a special access DoD acquisition program as a subsystem lead engineer within a recognized ACAT I program.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in electrical engineering or avionics engineering as a DoD civilian or DoD subcontractor.

Understanding of the DoD acquisition process.

Experience with systems engineering processes, requirements analysis, system design, system integration, requirements verification/validation, and Development Test/Operational Test (DT/OT) processes.

Background in providing technical management of DoD subcontractors, capable of overseeing the technical execution and assessment of DoD systems, subsystems, and components during development.

Experience in evaluating technical proposals to offer insights on the assessment of technical submissions.

Technical risk management expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance.
