Job Overview

Position: IT Support Specialist

Location: Remote

Compensation: $20.00/HR W2 (Potential increase upon permanent hire)

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite support for hardware repairs and troubleshooting of both hardware and software systems.
  • Analyze, maintain, and repair computer systems and peripherals.
  • Document and upgrade hardware and software systems as necessary.
  • Manage user account information, including permissions and security settings.
  • Train staff, identify issues, and facilitate repairs, including ordering replacement parts when required.
  • Address network connectivity issues and trace connections back to switches.
  • Escalate unresolved problems to higher-level support as needed.
  • Represent the organization professionally and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Engage with users to address routine technical inquiries and provide information.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting PC hardware and software.
  • Experience in providing hands-on support for server and network systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with mobile data plans and devices is a plus.
  • A+ certification is preferred.
