Overview: The Mortgage Loan Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the sales team by maintaining direct communication with clients and real estate professionals. This position is designed for individuals who are proactive and possess a strong customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and organized.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Loan Originator, clients, and referral partners throughout the loan process.
  • Promote the services of Envoy Mortgage to potential clients and real estate agents, while effectively managing follow-up communications.
  • Support the Loan Processor by analyzing client scenarios and coordinating with underwriting and investor guidelines.
  • Manage a diverse pipeline of loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans.
  • Gather and verify information from borrowers to ensure accurate loan applications and disclosures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and updating clients on their loan status.
  • Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies with the Loan Originator.
  • Facilitate communication regarding loan approvals and coordinate closing details with clients.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Envoy Mortgage's products and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the mortgage industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems and processing software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Work Environment: This position requires regular attendance during standard office hours, with potential for overtime as needed. The role involves a combination of clerical duties and direct client interaction.
