Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team at Community Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the interventional radiology department, including administering moderate sedation and recovering patients after procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in interventional radiology and radiology nursing practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Current state RN license
  • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Minimum of three years' experience in interventional radiology, cardiac cath lab, or critical care (ICU/CC)
  • Experience in all radiology/diagnostic imaging modalities, including fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, MRI, and general fluoroscopy
  • Experience in the administration of moderate sedation and recovery of post-sedation patients
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Preferred qualifications: BSN, Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN), and/or certification in cardiac cath lab or critical care
