Responsibilities

In this role, you will utilize your specialized care planning skills and serve as an innovator in patient care. You will influence exceptional patient experiences daily and employ your expertise alongside advanced technology to enhance patient health outcomes.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess a current state RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing institution. Additional qualifications include:

  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification upon hire
  • Minimum of one year of acute care experience
  • BSN preferred
  • Experience in wound care and ostomy preferred
  • Wound care/Ostomy certification preferred

Department Overview

The RN Nurse Navigator role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering specialized care in wound, ostomy, and continence management. This includes patient and family education, risk assessments, and facilitating necessary testing as directed by licensed providers. You will also serve as a resource for nursing practices related to skin, wound, ostomy, and continence care, and coordinate ongoing education and staff development in these areas.
