Position Overview:
The Senior Executive Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions. This individual must excel in organizing, prioritizing, and executing tasks efficiently. Building and nurturing strong relationships both within the organization and with external partners is essential. The ideal candidate should be approachable, respectful, and adept with modern technology, including virtual meeting platforms and scheduling systems.

Given the culture of ownership and accountability at Perkins Management Services, this role requires someone who is proactive and confident in making administrative decisions.


Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the executive calendar and appointment scheduling, collaborating with leadership to optimize time management.
- Participate in special projects, committees, or serve as a representative for the department.
- Handle incoming mail and emails as directed, ensuring timely responses.
- Maintain an organized electronic and physical filing system.

- Oversee travel arrangements, including booking flights, ground transportation, and accommodations, while ensuring detailed communication of these plans.

- Prepare reports, presentations, memos, and document meeting notes.
- Occasionally assist with personal tasks for the Executive Team as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Communications or 3-5 years of relevant experience in an administrative support role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft professional emails, reports, and other documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email platforms, and familiarity with virtual meeting tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to learn new tools and technologies as required.
- Experience in organizing and coordinating events, meetings, and conferences.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as an Administrative Professional (CAP).
- Microsoft Office certifications.

Work Environment:
- Candidates should be prepared to work on-site at the corporate office in Washington, DC, five days a week.
