Role Summary:

As a Customer Engagement Specialist at TopView Sightseeing, you will embody our brand's image and voice, playing a crucial role in promoting our offerings and enhancing our visibility and reputation. Your main responsibility will be to interact with potential customers, tourists, and local communities to foster awareness and interest in our sightseeing tours and packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and courteously.
  • Provide guests with essential information regarding departure times, stop locations, and other relevant details.
  • Verify and scan guest tickets while directing them to the appropriate bus or boat.
  • Gather guest information to assist in addressing customer service inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, bus operators, dispatchers, and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain responsibility for company equipment.
  • Encourage a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee the safety of both employees and guests.
  • Complete and submit various reports as required.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences and effectively conveying key selling points.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building rapport and fostering positive relationships with customers and team members.
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing demeanor, with a genuine passion for travel, tourism, and discovering new places.
  • Familiarity with New York City attractions, landmarks, and tourist destinations is preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary, with potential for remote or offsite assignments.

Location: New York City, NY

Compensation: $18 per hour

Employment Type: Part-Time, Seasonal

Scheduling Requirements: Availability to work weekends and holidays is essential.
