Key Responsibilities:


This role entails supporting data and technology initiatives, complex reporting, and analytical modeling to effectively manage risk and reduce credit and operational losses.

Primary duties include:

  • Evaluating and interpreting portfolio trends to inform decision-making.
  • Assisting in the creation of sophisticated databases or queries for data extraction.
  • Facilitating the generation of data for both internal and external reporting requirements.

Job expectations also involve collaborating with technology teams to implement necessary changes to meet ongoing data demands.


Essential Functions:
  • Develops and executes reporting mechanisms to enable Risk and business partners to effectively identify and manage risks.
  • Analyzes trends and supports data design, portfolio dynamics, and loss trends to align with business strategies.
  • Provides analytical support for various strategic initiatives impacting multiple Risk functions and business lines to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Participates in the development of database production processes and performance reports for senior management, utilizing data mining and advanced analytical techniques.
  • Responds to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributes to cross-functional efforts aimed at resolving data quality issues.
  • Monitors control outputs and investigates alerts from control checks.

Required Skills:
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in model development, validation, statistical analysis, data analytics, or quantitative research, or a PhD.
  • Ability to manage and deliver operational processes across data provisioning, model execution, and performance monitoring.
  • Strong collaboration skills with change agents to drive operational excellence.
  • Experience in coding and programming with tools such as Python, PySpark, SQL, Hadoop, and Hive.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, and SAS is advantageous.

Operational Management Skills:
  • Proficient in managing the full project life cycle from inception to implementation.
  • Experience in navigating both business and technical environments.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
