Job Responsibilities:
This role involves assisting with data and technology inquiries, conducting complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to mitigate risk and reduce credit and operational losses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and analyzing portfolio trends.
- Supporting the creation of intricate databases or queries for data extraction.
- Facilitating the generation of data for both internal and external reporting requirements.
Expectations for this role include collaborating with Technology to implement necessary changes to meet ongoing data requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the development and execution of reports to enable Risk and business partners to effectively identify and manage risk.
- Analyzes trends and assists in data design, portfolio dynamics, and loss trends to ensure alignment with business strategies.
- Provides analytical support for various strategic initiatives impacting multiple Risk functions and business lines to achieve company objectives.
- Participates in the creation of database production processes and performance reports for senior management, utilizing data mining and advanced analytical techniques.
- Assists in responding to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Supports cross-functional efforts to address data quality issues.
- Monitors control outputs and investigates alerts from control checks.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in model development, validation, statistical analysis, data analytics, or quantitative research, or a PhD.
Ability to Manage and Deliver:
- Cycle-over-cycle operational processes across data provisioning, model execution, and performance monitoring.
- Close collaboration with change agents driving operational excellence through strategic change.
- Execution of processes while adhering to various policies and regulations.
- Code development and programming with tools such as Python, PySpark, SQL, Hadoop, and Hive.
- Additional experience with Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, and SAS is advantageous.
Operations Management Skills:
- Proficiency in managing the full project life cycle from inception to implementation.
- Ability to operate effectively in both business and technical environments.
