We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst III who will operate under limited supervision, leveraging extensive knowledge and expertise acquired through formal education and professional experience to conduct both quantitative and qualitative analyses of retail and small business portfolios.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, preparing, and disseminating risk reports, while performing various credit risk analyses to ensure adherence to established exposure limits. This role requires independent work on complex assignments that are broad in scope.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly credit risk reports.
  • Gather and verify data for precision.
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of credit risk reporting frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management and business units to address exception/exposure items and prepare responses for senior management inquiries.
  • Formulate comprehensive and efficient solutions to intricate risk measurement and reporting requirements.
  • Provide analytical insights and commentary on significant credit exposure and concentration issues.
  • Evaluate business processes, procedures, and information needs to resolve issues and enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Calculate risk using industry-standard models, potential future exposures, and stress testing methodologies.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Fundamental concepts of credit risk management and retail banking.
  • Proficient in data analysis.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in operating standard office equipment and utilizing necessary software applications for correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.

Familiarity with SQL, Python, Oracle, Tableau, Snowflake, and Microsoft Office is essential.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in financial services, or
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience approved by Human Resources.
