Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned and results-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our vibrant team at Phoenix Tailings. In this pivotal role, you will lead financial strategy, secure funding, and drive sustainable growth in a rapidly changing clean technology landscape. Your strategic insights and leadership capabilities will be essential in shaping the company's future and enhancing shareholder value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement comprehensive financial strategies: Develop and execute long-term financial plans, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation strategies to align with the company's goals and foster growth.
  • Oversee capital structure negotiations: Lead negotiations regarding financing terms, including project financing and equity capital, to achieve optimal financial results.
  • Manage financial operations: Provide oversight to the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, risk management, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in financial leadership, ideally within the clean technology or mining sectors.
  • Expertise in project and debt financing in a high-growth environment.
  • A minimum of 15 years in senior financial management roles, with a strong background in financial modeling and mergers.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams.
