Senior Financial Accountant

Job Overview
The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee the investigation and resolution of financial discrepancies, perform reconciliations, uphold internal controls, and audit the contributions of colleagues to ensure prompt and precise financial closures related to the beverage sector.
This role entails accurately executing assigned tasks, potentially developing operational procedures for fellow accountants, generating reports for both internal and external stakeholders, and representing the team in initiatives aimed at process enhancement as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, prepare journal entries, analyze financial transactions, and conduct reconciliations.
- Execute financial analysis and reporting.
- Support the establishment and compliance with internal control measures.
- Assist with special requests and ad-hoc projects.
- Provide assistance and coverage for other accounting personnel as necessary.
- Conduct research and analysis to substantiate accounting entries.
- Create and maintain documentation of processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in SAP and Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP.
- Financial acumen with experience in problem-solving and strong analytical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, hands-on approach, high intellectual curiosity, and strategic mindset.
- Ability to collaborate and be a self-motivated positive team player.
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
