Role Summary: We are in search of a seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO) to become an integral part of our executive leadership team. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the operational framework of the organization, ensuring that all activities align with our mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership
    • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to formulate and execute strategic initiatives that further NashvilleHealth's mission.
    • Lead the development and implementation of organizational strategies and operational procedures.
    • Manage staffing requirements and recruitment efforts to support organizational growth.
  2. Operational Management
    • Oversee daily operations to ensure all departments function smoothly and efficiently.
    • Design and implement operational programs to enhance overall effectiveness.
    • Ensure compliance with state regulations and governance standards.
  3. Financial Oversight
    • Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and allocate resources effectively.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and fundraising initiatives to support sustainable growth.
  4. Program Management
    • Collaborate with program leaders to ensure successful project development and implementation.
    • Manage inter-organizational projects and priorities to achieve collective impact.
    • Evaluate program outcomes and suggest improvements as necessary.
  5. Quality Assurance
    • Establish quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards in program delivery.
    • Implement metrics to assess and enhance organizational performance.
  6. Collaboration and Partnerships
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships with external stakeholders.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
    • Represent the organization in various external engagements and partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in executive leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational operations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent strategic planning and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven success in financial management and resource optimization.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
