Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing, the Marketing and Communications Specialist will be responsible for the strategic planning, creation, editing, distribution, optimization, and monitoring of engaging content tailored for diverse audiences across various channels. This role is essential in promoting the Signature Health brand both internally and externally, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices to enhance marketing and communication strategies aimed at attracting and retaining patients, referral sources, and team members.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing and updating Signature Health's website, including content and graphics, SEO strategies, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Overseeing a comprehensive social media calendar and content strategy, while identifying emerging trends and growth opportunities.
  • Creating, writing, and visually designing content for internal and external communications, including newsletters, printed materials, digital signage, and press releases.
  • Monitoring feedback channels to support reputation management across various platforms.
  • Responding to internal requests for materials and collaborating with vendors as necessary.
  • Evaluating local community event and sponsorship opportunities, preparing materials for events, and attending as required.
  • Assisting in the execution of events hosted by Signature Health.
  • Managing the contact database within Signature Health's CRM system.
  • Ensuring adherence to Signature Health's graphic and brand standards.
  • Contributing to the marketing dashboard by tracking and reporting key performance metrics.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in design principles and branding, with experience in tools like Canva or Adobe InDesign being advantageous.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, with experience in Hootsuite being a plus.
  • Experience with content management systems, particularly Umbraco.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Studio, SEO tools, and Google Ads is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated analytical and project management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

  • This position is typically performed in an office environment, with a hybrid model of on-site and remote work.
  • Standard working hours are generally Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work required.
  • Physical requirements include periods of sitting, standing, and using a computer, as well as occasional lifting of items up to 15 pounds.
  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens may occur during job duties.
