Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Specialist 2 to provide administrative support to the Security Operations & Reception Center Manager at the Oregon Health Authority. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a variety of office support services, including typing, filing, telecommunications, and data entry.
  • Assist with coordination of admits and discharges, as well as coordination with Trip Slips.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.
  • An associate degree in any field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • LEDs certification or ability to get certified within 3 months of hire date.
  • Competency in verbal and written communication.
  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Computer Skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires working inside under crowded conditions. May be exposed to combative patients/residents and/or angry visitors. May be required to drive in adverse road conditions. Hours subject to change with little notice. May required to work hours that exceed regular schedule, i.e. a double shift or different shift in addition to regular schedule. May be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
