Office Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Specialist 2 to provide administrative support to the Security Operations & Reception Center Manager at the Oregon Health Authority. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a variety of office support services, including typing, filing, telecommunications, and data entry.
- Assist with coordination of admits and discharges, as well as coordination with Trip Slips.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, patients, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.
- An associate degree in any field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- LEDs certification or ability to get certified within 3 months of hire date.
- Competency in verbal and written communication.
- Customer Service Experience.
- Computer Skills.
This position requires working inside under crowded conditions. May be exposed to combative patients/residents and/or angry visitors. May be required to drive in adverse road conditions. Hours subject to change with little notice. May required to work hours that exceed regular schedule, i.e. a double shift or different shift in addition to regular schedule. May be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
