Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Specialist 2 to join our team at the State of Oregon. As an Administrative Specialist 2, you will play a critical role in supporting the Oregon State Police by processing set asides, motions, and other court orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process set asides, motions, and other court orders through positive fingerprint identification to update criminal history information in the CCH files.
  • Work independently and establish task priorities for own work, requiring general knowledge of CJIS Division operations and specific knowledge of the set aside process.
  • Conduct research and apply results to work product, utilizing effective written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
  • Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience, including coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis.
  • An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience, including coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with Courts, Prosecutors, and Defense Attorney's.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting court judgements and orders.
  • Ability to work independently and establish task priorities for own work.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Experience conducting research and applying results to work product.
