Job Title: Account Manager

NSD NEWCO is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a defined book of business by strengthening relationships with high-value automotive and/or insurance accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients' positions in the market, their products/services, points of difference, and competitive landscapes.
  • Communicate with clients on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, responding to specific queries via email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings.
  • Analyze account-level data and research areas of opportunity, forecasting and tracking key account metrics, and developing targeted growth and partnership strategies.
  • Work closely with customers to develop strategies that improve their competitive positioning within the market.
  • Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Organize, facilitate, and create content for business reviews with assigned accounts, clearly communicating the progress of quarterly initiatives.
  • Expertly facilitate the coordination of internal resources to resolve complex problems for assigned accounts.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of NSD products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to accounts.
  • Communicate voice of the customer feedback to upper management and help drive strategic initiatives and program or process improvements.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in all customer experience internal processes.
  • Perform competitive analysis to understand the positioning of our customers relative to their competitors, delivering strategic recommendations based on a comprehensive understanding of both the competitive landscape and our own internal data.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
  • Deep understanding of the Roadside Assistance or insurance industry, with the ability to stay updated on industry trends and apply this knowledge to customer engagements.
  • Curiosity and continuous learning, with a natural ability to explore new ideas, ask probing questions, and seek to understand the intricacies of our customers' businesses.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to think critically about business challenges and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations that are grounded in data and industry insights.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Customer-centric approach, with a strong focus on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that enhance their business operations.
  • Proficient computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, as well as experience with Salesforce, JIRA, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Ability to multi-task, follow up, and meet deadlines, with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, statistical science, math, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in account management, business analysis, or a similar role, preferably within the automotive, insurance, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Work Environment:

The usual environment is in a business office with a moderate noise level, although the environment includes airport travel on commercial airlines and visiting clients in their environments, which may differ substantially from client to client.
