Principal Engineer for Semiconductor Reliability

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Semiconductor Reliability Engineer to join our Advanced Microelectronic Solutions Department at Raytheon in Andover, MA.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive reliability test plans for semiconductor devices under accelerated stress conditions.
- Collaborate with process engineers, technology owners, and project leads to ensure seamless integration of reliability efforts.
- Design and execute reliability test plans, analyze data, and produce key metrics such as MTTF, failure rates, safe operating conditions, and corresponding confidence bounds.
- Handle compound semiconductor transistors, passive components, and monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs).
- Interact with probe stations and multiple reliability testing systems (DC and RFOL).
- Lead reliability efforts that support wafer foundry's new technology development, new tool qualification, and reliability-oriented design rule verification and development.
- Initiate and report failure analysis of components from reliability testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years' of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' of prior work experience.
- Reliability testing and characterization experience in the semiconductor field.
- Experience in the design and execution of reliability test plans for semiconductor devices.
- Experience with data analysis and reliability modeling.
- Experience with applied statistics in the reliability field.
- Experience with statistical analysis software tools (e.g., JMP, MATLAB, etc).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Advanced degree in STEM or statistics.
- Solid state device physics experience.
- Semiconductor wafer fab processing experience.
- Project management experience.
- Failure analysis experience with SEM, FIB, STEM, etc.
- Experience in the RF field.
- Experience with lab tools such as probe stations, curve tracers, Keithly/Agilent equipment.
- Experience with programming/scripting.
- Experience with related industry standards such as JEDEC, MIL.
- A competitive salary range of $96,000 - $200,000.
