JOB SUMMARY
This role is accountable for supervising various financial functions, including profit management, financial forecasting, and reporting. The position involves delivering insights and analyses of financial performance. It is essential to identify trends and provide recommendations for profitability drivers, such as revenue, margin, expense management, and working capital management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze key drivers of variances compared to previous results and assist with cost monitoring, product equity assessments, frequencies, and other statistical data pertinent to price management.
  • Identify underperforming clients and suppliers, along with the primary factors affecting profitability.
  • Advise management on strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of expense drivers and variances compared to previous years and plans, identifying opportunities for cost control and expense reduction.
  • Support the local CFO and market CFO in executing the forecast.
  • Ensure that overall trends and the effects of key initiatives are accurately represented in the forecast.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or economics is required.
  • An MBA is preferred.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting is required.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • CPA certification is preferred.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with financial reporting software.

DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY

Most significant decisions made independently include:

  • Exhibiting strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills along with comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Playing a crucial role in the annual AOP process.

Decisions made with review and approval of others include:

  • Participating in the recruitment and training of finance associates.
  • Managing performance and development of finance associates.
