About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst Intern to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As a Finance Analyst Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our accounting and finance functions, working closely with our project teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve financial discrepancies and errors.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Provide analytical support to project managers and other stakeholders to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Ability to relocate for this internship.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other key Excel functions is preferred.
  • Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Previous internship experience is preferred.
