Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Randstad. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Engineering Services Department, including reviewing and processing purchase orders, communicating with internal customers and vendors, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Communicate with internal customers and vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor information
  • Provide administrative support to the Engineering Services Department, including answering phone calls, taking messages, and providing information to customers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in general business preferred
  • Two years of work experience in a purchasing function, including experience with purchase orders, accounts payable, and receiving departments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
