Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Professional to join our team at TEKsystems.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading healthcare organization, providing technical support and assistance to their staff. As a Technical Support Professional, you will be the first point of contact for all technology-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IS-related issues, responding to requests for technical assistance via phone, email, electronic self-service, or in person.
  • Gather necessary information from users to facilitate timely issue resolution.
  • Identify situations requiring urgent attention, prioritizing and routing issues to the appropriate area for resolution.
  • Provide accurate and timely logging and resolution of issues in the Service Management system.
  • Take ownership of user issues, following the status of issues on behalf of the user, and communicating progress in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Possess exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels.
  • Have a strong understanding of Windows 7, Windows 10, Office 2010/2013, and ITSM tools.
  • Be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a tier 1.5 environment.
  • Demonstrate expertise in conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.
