Position Overview:
As a vital member of our team, you will provide essential support and guidance to patients and visitors. Your role will involve offering information regarding regulatory standards and assisting patients with their financial responsibilities, including co-pays and other balances.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the accurate collection of patient demographic and financial data to maintain precise electronic medical records.
2. Schedule and register patients for both pre-arranged and walk-in Radiology examinations, utilizing departmental systems for data tracking and retrieval.
3. Address and resolve patient account inquiries, collaborating with technical staff and physicians as necessary.
4. Foster positive relationships with patients and visitors, approaching conflicts constructively and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
5. Conduct patient registration by gathering necessary demographic information and completing related documentation.
6. Determine and collect required payments at the time of registration, ensuring clarity regarding patient financial responsibilities.
7. Verify procedural and diagnosis codes for accuracy prior to claims submission, communicating effectively with patients about their financial obligations.
8. Schedule appointments for diagnostic tests following established guidelines, and maintain logs of patient activities.
9. Utilize various information systems to enter and access data, ensuring quality assurance and statistical reporting.
10. Manage office supplies and maintain an organized work environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Qualifications:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Skills:
1. Proficient in medical terminology related to registration and billing procedures.
2. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals.
3. Excellent organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing environments.
4. Competency in operating office equipment and information systems.
