Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the methods, procedures, materials, and equipment relevant to the designated area is essential.

Physical Demands

  • This role necessitates moderate levels of standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a skilled long-term care facility or acute care hospital.
  • Volunteer experience equivalent to 1 year in a short-term care facility (e.g., rehabilitation).
  • Enrollment in a pre-Physician Assistant or pre-Medical Assistant program.
  • Completion of a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program.
  • An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program.
