Banner Health is in search of a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist for our Surgical ICU Stepdown unit. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional nursing care and enhancing patient outcomes.

Role Highlights

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be instrumental in patient care, acting as an advocate for patients and their families. Your role will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and social needs.
  • Formulating and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Evaluating patient progress and modifying care plans as necessary.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to nursing staff to foster professional growth.
Work Environment

This position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, with options for both Day and Night shifts. A weekend schedule is available, along with a flat rate weekend shift differential.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a valid RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification. Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
