    • Education:

    • Licensure/Certification:
      • Required: Active California RN license; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
    • Experience:
      • Preferred: Background in specialty nursing or higher acuity settings, or completion of an internship program.
  • Core Responsibilities:
    • Adheres to the Code of Conduct and compliance policies, addressing any compliance-related inquiries or concerns and reporting suspected violations.
    • Conducts comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health, utilizing age-appropriate data and demonstrating proficient assessment skills.
    • Implements and documents care plans based on identified patient needs, ensuring adherence to established hospital protocols.
    • Facilitates patient education and discharge planning to enhance patient outcomes, coordinating referrals to maintain continuity of care.
    • Commits to professional growth and clinical competency through participation in development sessions and peer collaboration.
    • Engages in quality improvement initiatives, incorporating feedback into daily nursing practice.
    • Serves as a resource for colleagues, contributing to the professional development of the healthcare team.
    • Completes additional duties as assigned.
